The Lycans say, "RAWR".

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD

Im going to do the first of what is sure to be many movie-related posts.

First up: UNDERWORLD: RISE OF THE LYCANS

I just saw the movie today, and I LOVED IT.

The story centers on Lucian, and his fellow Lycans, who are imprisoned by Victor.

Apparently, the Lycans today aren't Pureblood[*gasp*].

The very first Lycans the vampires imprisoned, on the other hand, WERE Pureblood.

And everything began when one of them gave birth.

This was Lucian, a promising young lad.

And it is through Lucian that they were able to gain more prisoners to guard their home.

It is through Lucian that the Werewolves of today came to be.

Slaves to the vampires, these Lycans were treated just like animals.

Mocked... disrespected... PETS.

Lucian had ENOUGH.

And with his effort together with the help of Sonja [Victor's daughter and his lover] they are going to turn their world UPSIDE DOWN.

Im not into serious movies, but this is one I can sink mah teeth into.

So much action. And not to mention blood-shed [the screen was practically scarlet!] .

Just like in the first two movies, underneath the war is a love story.

Love between a vampire and [in this movie's case] a Lycan is unfavorable to both bloodlines.

But these two would go as far as dying to make sure they succeed.
[touching daw ana si feb ug xai XD]

Anyway, plot buildup was fantastic. And the connection that was made to the first Underworld movie made sense.

OVERALL SCORE: 10/10

By the way, you might have noticed that I capitalized Lycan but not vampire.

That's because I support the Lycans fully! hahahahah

-our handheld buddies, aging.

Well, it was definitely the hottest and most anticipated "handheld war" that racked-up the gaming industry for the last 4 years. The DS vs. PSP feud was indeed a history maker, the two systems had their fair share of "ups and downs", but they had always maintained their spree with the recent outbreak of newly-developed games for each handheld console.

I read a topic regarding the "deterioration" of both the PSP and the DS. And, I'll have to agree that things always come to age, and so does our two handheld buddies.

New games come and go, Nintendo and Sony had their share of fun. Now it's Apples' turn to be in the spotlight.

Here's a topic I just found:

Apple: DS and Sony PSP are in the Past.

In a move that will most likely ruffle a few gamers' feathers, the head of the iPhone's marketing, Greg Joswiak, recently claimed that the iPhone is the future of gameplay, while other handheld consoles (namely the DS and PSP) are "in the past" ...

iPhone marketing big shot Greg Joswiak has pegged iPhone as "the future of gameplay", while Sony and Nintendo's dedicated gaming portables are "in the past".
"There are already so many games and as we look at it, to us it really seems [The iPhone] is the future of gameplay. Whereas a lot of these devices [Nintendo DS and Sony PSP] are more in the past," he boldly stated.

Uh-oh! ^_^

Classic Console RetroSpective

-NarcolepticNinja-

Tonight ill be reviewing a console or somewhat giving it some sort of recognition that it rightfully
deserves and so, I present the "Dreamcast" shing!...
from my own knowledge the dreamcast was originally designed by a dying company named Sega
(all thanks to Nintendo and Sony)
Sega attempted
to wipe-out and replace the playstation and n64 fad, bad move!, because the dreamcast was released to a little more than a year before the ps2, so of course gamers divert their attention to the newer generation of consoles which led(with the exception of its first year) to a coniderably low sale of the said gaming system but enough about that.
this low profile console actually had interesting "firsts" such as supporting online play without any other expensive peripherals,(fuckk u x-box live!) thats innovation!

The dreamcast's memory card called the visual memory unit had it's share of great design from the makers, we all know that the primary purpose of a memory card is to save your game file so you could continue playing the game in the future without starting the game all over, but the "vmu" was more than that, it had a little screen and some buttons that actually was incorporated in some games like in the game resident evil the vmu showed the players health and some other doodad, which for me is great, and also the vmu could also be used as as standalone mini-game player, clock and address book. its all great!...

now I could go on and on about its cool and innovative peripherals but we all know that
what's inportant are the games ,here's a few gems the dreamcast provided.
